FINAL MAGAZINE!!!
I can't believe we are here already!! Here is my final magazine!! I love it so much and I am so proud of all of the hard work I put into it!! I hope you love it as much as I do!!
CCR Time!!
Welcome back!!
I am currently finishing up my CCR, so I wanted to take some time to come on here and tell you guys what I am doing.
I am creating my CCR on WeVideo. I chose to do this instead of a more sophisticated software such as Premiere Pro because the editing that I have to do is simple and I felt that WeVideo would be able to do everything I want it to do. Over the course of my project, I have been trying to record as much of the process as possible. It is great that I did that because now I am using all of that footage in my CCR. I think that my CCR is coming out really well and I can't wait to post the final product!!
So until next time!

Crunch time part 5!!(table of contents)
Welcome back!!
For the past week or so I have been contemplating what I wanted to do for my table of contents. I knew I wanted the background to be the image as I thought it looked really cool and different. I was just having trouble deciding what I wanted that picture to be. I was look at Pintrest for some inspiration and then it hit me that I wanted my background to be some sort of flower design. So, I got in my car and headed to CVS to pick up some flowers.
When I got there I had to decide what color and type of flowers I wanted to use. I decided that I wanted to go with greens and yellows as I felt it went along well with my environmental theme of my cover story. So, I picked up the flowers and headed home to start creating my design.
I made my design on this portable deflector, which is basically this white background that is used to photograph products. This created a nice white background for my photo. I finished my design and took some photos. Once I picked the one I liked, I opened it up in Photoshop and just played around with the contrast and saturation to make the flowers more bold. This was the final product.

I think it is so pretty!! Then all I did was open up Canva and type on all of my stories and I was done!!

Crunch time part 3!! (Ad #2)
Welcome back!!
So, I didn't have school today so I had some spare time to create my second ad! I really like the way it turned out and it was so much fun to create.

Okay, let me attempt to explain the process of how I created the background.
I went to CVS and bought the cheapest eyeshadow palette I could find. I then went home and took and old white t-shirt that I didn't care about getting dirty. Next, I took this little metal tool that came with some art kit I had. I then scraped up the first color in the palette onto a paper plate and gently shook the product into a line on the t-shirt. I repeated this step with all of the colors and I shook all of the colors touching each other so it looked like that. I then took pictures of it with the flash on and cropped it so it looks like how it does above. I slightly edited the photo so that the pigments were a little brighter as the flash washed out some of the color. Overall, I think it looks really eye catching and I think it will bring some more color into my magazine.
So until next time!
XOXO, Sophie
